Breakfast at Konnigans in Wandsworth with my old roomie. I love this restaurant, good food, good vibe and good chai lattes.

Beeping Effing Boys
I am neither old nor wise. But by the age of 24 there are a few things I have learned about boys... Why didn't anyone tell me this earlier?
If a boy loves you, he will not make you cry. Ever.
And if you have stopped crying, then there is truly nothing left worth fighting for.
If you do not want your children to be exactly like their father. Do not marry him.
A nice man who does not like animals or tip waitresses, is not a nice man.
If he likes you, a busy day will not be too busy for him to text you.
If he loves you, he will not leave you. He will know what he has got, losing you to realise this will never end happily.
If he has only bought you "I am sorry flowers" and not "just because flowers", he is not a keeper.
If he goes for drinks with another girl after walking you to the station. He is a douche-bag.
Listen to your gut. That inner voice that says he's not the one, is right.
Tattoos and piercings are not a substitute for personality.
If your mom does not approve. Listen to her.
If you start doing things that he likes rather than what you like, you will only lose yourself. Don't wake up one day wondering who you actually are.
Guard your heart. Your body can be healed but it's hard to put together a broken soul.

20 New Year’s Resolutions For 20-Somethings
Before you status update, Tweet, Tumble or Instagram, pause
and say to yourself, “is it entirely necessary that I share this morsel of
thought with my entire social network?” and if the answer is not, “yes, I
absolutely must,” then step away from the Internet.
Know who you’re going to vote for in the
upcoming presidential election, and know why.
Enough with the 14-day juice cleanses. If you want to lose a
little weight quickly, eat less and exercise like crazy. If you want to lose a
lot of weight slowly, do whatever Jennifer Hudson did.
If you really like the person you’re hooking up with and
would like them to be your boyfriend/ girlfriend, find a way to tell them, and
hope for the best. If you don’t and wouldn’t, stop.
Find a way to save approximately £300 and spend it on a
flight to somewhere you have never been, even for a weekend.
Please stop liking the Kardashians, all of them. It’s not
helping anyone, least of all the Kardashians.
Spend less than or equal to the money you earn each month.
Wear clothes that fit you, especially to work.
Call someone on the phone at least once a week, and speak to
him or her for at least ten minutes.
Start preparing now to get over the fact that Facebook is
probably going to change again in six
months. You’re not going to deactivate
your account. You don’t know how.
Wait 30 seconds before you look up a fact you can’t remember
on your phone, and try to remember it using your brain. This is what the olden
days were like.
Stop watching terrible reality TV (except if Olivia Palermo
starts something of course!) It’s not even reality. And it makes “real” life
seem boring. Stop. Now!
Try that food you think you don’t like but have never
actually tried, unless it’s brussels sprouts. They really don’t need any more
attention.
Cut one person out of your life who you truly do not like
and add one person who you truly do. Note: not on Facebook, on Earth.
If you’re still blacking out regularly, you should stop.
Drunk girls are not sexy.
Volunteer once over the next 90 days. You’ll feel really good about it, and
probably end up volunteering again over the next 275.
Tell someone who you
love that you love them on a more regular basis. To their face, not in a text.
Back up your entire online life onto an external hard drive,
especially your photos.
Just do it. This applies to whatever thing you’re not doing
that you should just sack up and do already.

Bond Street
I am cursed blessed enough to work just down the road from the city's hub of shopping. So I thought I would take you on a little tour of the places I go and the routes I take, especially because I wish I had known where to go or what to do when I first got to London.
If you walk up Bond Street and you will discover some of my favourite stores like Zara and Zara Home, Mango and H&M, just to name a few. Once you have walked all the way up you will find yourself at Oxford Circus Station. Every day leading up to Christmas the shops will be open until 10pm apart from Sunday, of which it's 7.00pm. Until then save your shopping days for a Thursday, this is the day for late night shopping and shops currently close at 9pm. Cha-ching!
Miki Paris are also just up on the left hand side and they are great opticians, if like me you find yourself needing a random eye test one day.

After a while...
· After a while, you learn the subtle difference
between holding a hand and chaining a soul,
And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning
And company doesn’t mean security,
And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts
between holding a hand and chaining a soul,
And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning
And company doesn’t mean security,
And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts
And presents aren’t promises,
And you begin to accept your defeats
With the grace of a woman,
not the grief of a child,
And learn to build all your roads on today
Because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans,
And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight
And after a while, you learn That even sunshine burns if you get too much.
So you plant your own garden
and decorate your own soul,
Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure…
That you really are strong
And you really do have worth
And you learn
and learn…
And you begin to accept your defeats
With the grace of a woman,
not the grief of a child,
And learn to build all your roads on today
Because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans,
And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight

So you plant your own garden
and decorate your own soul,
Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure…
That you really are strong
And you really do have worth
And you learn
and learn…

Bargain Buy - Bed Linen and my Bamboo Throw
I have been keeping an eye out for a cozy bed throw for a few months now. With winter coming up I wanted something I could use to snuggle up to while drinking bottomless cups of tea, browsing Pinterest, stalking researching on Facebook, blogging for hours you get the picture (yes in Winter I am a creature of hibernation!).
So I was just thrilled when I stumbled across this great linen website the other day. I literally clicked on a Google ad (I never do that) and found DAPW. Now perhaps I should start with saying that when it comes to my bed linen I am so fussy about quality. I love my sleep. I also delight in the small pleasures of a comfy duvet and clean linen. There is nothing quite like sleeping in freshly made, clean linen. However I have champagne taste with beer money I am sadly discovering. So when I saw the price tags on this website I was quite chuffed with my bargain find. I added a few goodies to my basket, was comforted by their 365 days returns and then was delighted with the products when they arrived.
I also traded in my Primark duvet, duvet covers and awfully lumpy pillows for products from here. Yes after 2 1/2 years of living in London, I am finally moving up in the world :) And I cannot recommend them highly enough - you will just have to pop by to see for yourself.

Piccadilly Circus
If youever find yourself at Piccadilly Circus, London then pop into the new Whole Foods Market. It is filled with all things organic and healthy. If I were rich, I would buy all my groceries from this store! And if you are vegetarian / vegan or on a healthy mission, you will simply love this place!
