Beeping Effing Boys

I am neither old nor wise. But by the age of 24 there are a few things I have learned about boys... Why didn't anyone tell me this earlier?

If a boy loves you, he will not make you cry. Ever.

And if you have stopped crying, then there is truly nothing left worth fighting for.

If you do not want your children to be exactly like their father. Do not marry him.

A nice man who does not like animals or tip waitresses, is not a nice man.

If he likes you, a busy day will not be too busy for him to text you.

If he loves you, he will not leave you. He will know what he has got, losing you to realise this will never end happily.

If he has only bought you "I am sorry flowers" and not "just because flowers", he is not a keeper.

If he goes for drinks with another girl after walking you to the station. He is a douche-bag.

Listen to your gut. That inner voice that says he's not the one, is right.

Tattoos and piercings are not a substitute for personality.

If your mom does not approve. Listen to her.

If you start doing things that he likes rather than what you like, you will only lose yourself. Don't wake up one day wondering who you actually are.

Guard your heart. Your body can be healed but it's hard to put together a broken soul.
