Show me, don't tell me
I started a little side line project (on the spur of the moment today) so Antlers & Antidotes is now on tumblr! I have discovered I am more visual than word orientated. I think this is because I had an ex who made talk cheap for me. So words don't mean much. However pictures to me do. I love pictures. And boy do I take a lot of pictures. (I bought my first iphone this year, yes I am a self confessed instagram addict). I am going to use this blog to write more and use the tumblr to snap more. Well that was my plan for this (whatever this is) in 2013 anyway. It would be great if you checked it out, all the pictures are mine. I didn't want to regurgitate somebody else's pictures because I think Pinterest already does this so well. The pictures I have uploaded have all been taken with my iphone. And will be for now at least since I am camera-less and probably will be until I learn how to save - properly! With all that being said, I hope you have an amazing New Year's tonight. Getting excited for Winter!
This has made me want to go back to Lake Tahoe and snowboard for another season! I get goose bumps just watching it. Draw The Line, my favourite old school snowboarding DVD. Like evvvvveeeer! (Said in an American accent). And I love this intro song too.

My motivation for today!
I joined the gym. I haven't been to one of those in yonks. I even did two classes tonight and now I am dead. Seriously dead. I have already traded in my trainers and sweat pants for my socks and flannels and as I type this I am curled up in bed, getting ready to watch Hart of Dixie. I don't think I will be able to move tomorrow. BUT in 2013 I am determined to get my beach body on ;) Wish me luck!

Café Dox
When in Stockholm, pop into Café Dox! I loved this place. They serve chai tea lattes in glasses (not mugs like I am used to), with a chilled, laid back-student style vibe. I loved the furniture too! *Note there is also free WIFI for the weary traveller.
