Have you been naughty or nice?

Spitalfields Market

I love London , there is always something to do and discover in this city! These pretty gems caught my eye and I got a sneak peak at the behind the scenes of a fashion show that was going on for the day.

Stopping by Stockholm

I went to Stockholm the other day (and fell in love). That city sure has style. A simple, understated, gorgeous style. I loved the shoes there. The ankle boots, cable knits, simple coats all = amazing! Here are a few snaps from our road trip.

I just adored these moose blankets but they were too pricey (£84!)

Bargain Buy - Bed Cushions

I love little critters. A few of my favourites are rabbits, deer, birds and foxes.

I am embarking on this new "phase" in my life where I am only buying things I just absolutely love and not because they are on sale. (Goodness I am a sucker for a SALE sign!) However, I find it is not always a bargain because half the time I only half heartily love it and would probably not have loved it, if it had not on be on sale - do you know what I mean? So it hit me when I realised I wanted to start only buying key pieces I simply loved instead, that I must now be a grown up... At the age of 24 I felt old for the first time!

So back to my bargain buy! I wanted to add a few woodland critters to my bedroom decor and looked everywhere for something I would just love! And that is when I saw these two cushions - on Ebay of all places! You have to love an Ebay find! The rabbit cushion actually has a different design on the back with a dark grey background and a white rabbit which is nifty. There were also other stag head designs and I thought they were very reasonably priced.

Bargain Buy - Vintage Handbag

My very first proper vintage buy is in the form of this little number. I bought it from Rokit, click here to see where their stores are located. They also do gorgeous vintage ankle boots, I just couldn't bring myself to buy second hand vintage shoes - that just seems gross.

Oh My Deer

Yesterday the girls and I ran a 10K for A21 and the girls who are victims of sex slavery and human trafficking, through Richmond Park. Wow! What a morning. It was such a privilege to run for a such a worthy cause. And it was so picturesque. I seriously need to spend some more time there. Richmond Park is beautiful. And I saw DEER. I LOVE deer (as you can clearly tell with the concept of this blog). It was such a gorgeous autumn morning. I am feel so inspired, so humbled and so refreshed.

Sorry about the picture quality. These boys had huge antlers. I was a teeny bit scared to get too close in case I got rammed...bear in mind I was wearing a red hoody. Can they see in colour?

My book case has been organised and the sun is out = perfect autumn morning!

Brick Lane and the Wishing Chair

My friend Katie is a beautiful creative soul and the perfect companion for an inspiration day outing. She also knows all the bus routes in London - and since I have no sense of direction she is also very handy to travel around with!

On this day we found ourselves in Brick Lane, East London and I found the two most lovely, retro chairs! My heart seriously skipped a beat but I had absolutely no space to store them,  so they were sadly left behind :(

Totes and Rails

I have always wanted to have a clothing rail - and now I do! *Happy Dance*

I also love my new fox tote bag from Primark for £1.50! I was running around town the other day and needed an extra bag to put my stuff into, so I bought this on a whim. Isn't it cute?

'Elo There

So it's been a while...Some of you may know I had a blog before. Some of you may not. But this is the start of something new. And I am excited to get back to blogging! It's been far too long. I am discovering and rediscovering what I love, where I am going and what I am doing. I still haven't actually figured out this last part though.

What I have discovered are some great bargain buys, quaint coffee shops, a new love for simple styles and a love for this city, London. Gosh, I have missed sharing these all with you. It's good to be back!

Love Meg X

PS - I have a new love for Ellie Goulding, *If only I could sing*
